Article 8 (Google Sign-In and backup)

The backup feature allows you to sign in with your Google account (or Apple ID). When you sign in with Google, this service receives your Google account's basic profile information (name, email address, and profile picture) and a unique user ID through Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication. This information is used only to identify you and to store and restore your backup data. Backup data is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore / Cloud Storage), linked to your user ID.
